Legislative Issues

Travel and tourism is a very important industry to the economy and quality of life in our country. This is recognized by government at all levels - federal down to local government. Obviously, there are both government regulations and government programs that impact our industry. We plan on using this section to update our partners on some of the legislative issues that bear on tourism. Check on any of the items below to review the issues. In many cases we simply link you to the site itself.

Another important bit of information is for you to know "who is who" in terms of our elected officials. By clicking here, you can view up-to-date contact information for the elected officials that you may wish to contact.

On occasion, the Board of Directors of Finger Lakes Visitors Connection has taken a position on some subjects. Click here to view those position statements or policies that the board has adopted.
