The glass of Finger Lakes Riesling is chilled. The fading orange sun is laced with purple clouds and sinking in the west. You’re all settled in at your B and B. It’s finally your time to relax and escape the hectic pace that you’ve run all week long. For these few days, stress is a foreign word. A good book is in – e-mail is out! The fireplace is in – cooking your own dinner is out! You’re in the Finger Lakes and you know what that means – it’s time to relax and rejuvenate.

Speaking of rejuvenating – tomorrow is another day. That’s when relaxing steps it up a notch. The rewards of your bike ride or a morning lakeside walk are all you need to really rejuvenate. Rejuvenation comes in the sense of accomplishment – whether it’s the ski hill run from Upper Meteor or the slide and glide of the cross country skis through Cumming Nature Center. Tonight? Who knows – maybe Finger Lakes Gaming and Racetrack, maybe just a snack and a cup of coffee at Finger Lakes Coffee Roasters, or you might have to tap in to that new wine you tasted at the Culinary Center. Next time – you think you’ll take an art class while you’re here – and definitely attend a concert. Your spirit is refreshed.
